White Noise – Love Without Sound (1969)
by Fine Melodies
From the album An Electric Storm. White Noise was a project after-hours in the BBC Radiophonic Workshop studio between Delia Derbyshire and a couple others. All sounds were created by piecing hundreds of bits of tape together, speeding up and slowing down the machines, etc. Synthesizers were not invented yet, and Delia quit music when the first Synthesizer was created.
